It was really an offhand comment, not meant to widen the generation gap. (Nobody in their right mind would call me a thirty-something, alas, except maybe socially.) I'm all for abbreviation diversity. I <i>am</i> a librarian, after all, and well versed in acronyms having multiple uses (RDA = recommended daily allowance? Not any more!). I use it too. Additionally I have a collection of about 70 2600 carts. So, yeah, bring it, son! You have spawn to dstract you from reliving gaming history! Mwa ha ha! Frankly, I think all disagreements should be settled using the Atari 2600.
