Casa Grande Library System is twittering (at http://twitter.com/cglibrary)! Looks like they’re dumping news from their RSS feeds into their twitter account.

This is the first actual library system I’ve heard of that’s twittering… anyone else know of a twittering library (ok - I realize that sounds funny…)?

Cleveland Public Library just started one this past week, FYI (Thanks, CIL2007!)

Steven Cohen twittered about a public library using RSS2Twitter a couple of weeks ago, and MRRL (www.mrrl.org), my library, has had a twitter feed for a week or two as well. We dump our Flickr feed, upcoming.org feed and our press release feed (boring, but what can you do?) into the twitter account.

Heh - I gave you our website URL, but not our twitter url - it’s http://www.twitter.com/mrrl.

The Nebraska Library Commission’s Reference Staff are Twittering their reference questions at http://twitter.com/NLC_Reference

Questions that contain information that identify the patron are not posted to protect patron confidentiality.
