Question for CSS Dudes…

by David Lee King on October 3, 2007

Help anyone? My footer works in Firefox, but has disappeared in IE (IE7, at least). I’m open to suggestions!

Thanks!

It looks like it might be the “position: relative;” rule. Position: relative has a history of bugginess in IE. You may want to try removing the position rule or changing it to position: absolute;.

I just tested position: absolute – it looks like it works for your page in IE7.

David, it’s an old known problem and a headache for most webmasters. You’d better ask for advice at webmasters forums.
