Though many library-based NASIGers work on the tech services vs. public side of their organization, I think it's important for us to think about how to use social networking on the back end of library work! We have to be aware of these tools as our OPACs are being 2.0'd and reference staff are 2.0'ing and bloggers are providing current information on their work (rather than us waiting months to read about it in a journal or book)! Our publisher & vendor members have already adopted many 2.0 tools. We need to know how to use those to make our workflows more efficient as we continue to try to do more with less!
