Carolyn - that's funny that your husband mentioned the Bluetooth thing first. 10 years ago NO ONE talked about their cars this way! It's a new world, to be sure...

"I’m tall - the headrest was never in the right place for me. I figured out how to get around it by adjusting the seatback so my head didn’t touch the headrest. Shorter people won’t have this problem, I’m thinking."

My husband and I purchased a Ford Fusion last month and this headrest issue was my only gripe. He is driving the car, so naturally I caved. The Ford Fusion SEL sedan has grown on me. We have taken several long drives in the Fusion and I seemed to adjust to the headrest discomfort en route.

The Fusion has a smooth ride and is averaging 28 mpg highway and 24 mpg city. We did not opt for the navigation system. (I think my husband came equipped with one). My husband and I both are enjoying the leather upgrade.

When I mentioned I might be posting about his car online, my husband’s reply was, “I really like the way the car syncs with my Bluetooth.”

Connie - hee. I think the "line" would be VERY close to the front door of a library building, if I were guessing.

But I'd be up for that smart home - bring it on!

Sounds like your family had fun trying it out. I'm finding the other comments here on your blog interesting. I wonder what kind of product reviews they would find acceptable? Video camera? iPhone? Kindle? Wii? Books about libraries? Beta test of a new web-based networking product? I wonder where they think the line should be.

Personally I'd love to see what you and your family would do with a smart home. :-)

Cheers,
Connie
