Miranda - thanks for the comment, and for sharing the video!

On the time length - agreed! We're hearing that a lot. It was our way to attempt to squish as many of the photo submissions into the video as we could. But you're definitely correct - we're still learning, too.

Thanks again!

I shared the first two minutes of this video for one of my ENG 101 sessions, they were fairly amused. Overall: great work! The most impressive feature is the RTK list. (Which reads a bit like a beta version that will continue to be added upon, tweaked and refined.)

Two suggestions:shorten the video. Seriously. (You guys even mention it in the RTK list, but don't follow your own advice. Hmm.) Viewers just tend to lose interest after about 3 minutes.

Also, the yellow font is really hard to read. I'm sure even harder if one happens to be color blind.

Best of luck!

Wow. that's brilliant!

I happened to find your site googling for info on podcasting services (I podcast by phone) at the beginning of October and immediately fell in love with it.

I have always loved the library and am there at least once a week working on my business, honing my skills, and reading the books that have shaped my character.
The public library is absolutely one of the best resources ever created. It seems to me that it has improved more lives, molded more minds, and paved more roads to bright futures than any other public program. It offers citizens self-education, and frankly that is probably the only education there is.

To find your blog, and to see your passion for the value of the library system and your thoughts on web technology's ability to enhance that value, has been a delight.

I try never to tell people what to do, but let me make an exception in your case... Please, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

I wonder if the librarians at my library know about this. I will mention it to one of the computer center staff the next time I'm there.
