Watch the Video

My family recently visited Silver Dollar City in Branson, and had a blast! This video shows one of the park's older rides, Great Shootout at the Flooded Mine. When I was a kid, it was just called "The Flooded Mine" - you rode slowly around in ore cars and looked at the slightly automated manequin convicts trying to escape the flooded mine.

Sometime in the recent past someone decided that the ride was boring, and added guns and targets to the ride - so now, you can either still simply ride and look around, or you can shoot at stuff and see how high you can score.

Either way, it's still a pretty quirky ride!
